Terri teaches gourd art throughout the Midwest and has exhibited her works in Madison at the Overture Center for the Arts, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art as well as at Long Branch Gallery in Mineral Point. She is best known for founding the Wisconsin Gourd Society and organizing  their annual spring festival at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. Terri also speaks at garden clubs, libraries and gardening events, and teaches gourd art to children at summer Art Camps. She is thrilled to share  her knowledge of gourds, from growing to fine art and encourages others to explore their inner artist.

Classes include planting and cleaning gourds, cutting techniques, color concepts, coiling, woodburning, making sculptures, carving and filigree, making musical instruments, inlay, jewelry  and much more – all with gourds!
